The new sound management system is able to identify unique sound patterns and adjusting to them instantly.  It makes extremely fast changes, such as increasing or reducing amplification based on the type of sounds coming into the hearing aid.  The hearing aids can be set to change automatically or you can be in control with a manual push button.
