Frequency Shifting – Some patients have such damaged hearing in the high frequencies that hearing aids cannot help them there. If we try to amplify those sounds you just get distortion.  By using frequency shifting technology the sounds that would normally be in those damaged areas are moved to lower frequencies where you can hear them again.  This results in better speech understanding for you and helps you hear more than other hearing aids.
